A cargo transport vehicle is proposed, including: a. at least one self-supporting cargo support platform, b. at least one mobile carrier configured to carry a cargo receptacle carrier and to move and stop between positions along the cargo support platform, c. an electronic circuit including i. a command interface, and ii. a controller, wherein the command interface is configured to receive mobile carrier positioning instructions and to transmit them to the controller, the controller being configured to control the mobile carrier according to the positioning instructions.
