In the display device, an uneven structure having unevenness with a pitch and a height smaller than a wavelength of visible light is formed on any one or more of a front surface side of the protective plate, a back surface side of the protective plate, and a front surface side of the display unit, and an anti-glare (AG) structure having an AG function is formed on any one or more of the front surface side of the protective plate, the back surface side of the protective plate, and the front surface side of the display unit. The present technology can be applied to a display device that displays a biological image.
