In the display panel, a first substrate includes a substrate and a thin-film transistor disposed on the substrate, and the thin-film transistor includes an active layer. The second substrate is disposed on the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first filter layer is disposed on at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate, and at least part of the first filter layer overlaps with the active layer. The first filter layer is a metal oxide film layer.
