Disclosed is a method for generating information indicative of objects in a geographical area, the method includes: receiving a request; determining a number of positioning services for inquiring the data in accordance with the data in the request; generating a request for information; modifying the received information from the determined number of positioning services by filtering out privacy related information in relation to objects in the geographical area; and generating a response to the requesting entity.
