The method comprises: establishing a communication session with a network node for transmission of data; receiving a configuration message indicating information for one or more of transmission slots for a plurality of logical channels; setting up for transmission of data based on the received configuration message to select one or more logical channels of the plurality of logical channels; and prioritizing the selection of plurality of logical channels when the UE is indicative of initiation of transmission of data.
