The pixel includes a first electrode; a first insulating layer disposed on the first electrode, and including openings, each of the openings exposing different areas of the first electrode and defining respective cells; light emitting elements disposed in the respective cells, each of the light emitting elements including a first end electrically connected to the first electrode; and a second end protruding upward from the first insulating layer; and a second electrode disposed on the light emitting elements, and electrically connected to the second ends of each of the light emitting elements.
