The electrical connector assembly relates to a system for fastening or otherwise supporting an electrical conductor on a housing of an electrical connector assembly that reduces the amount of mechanical vibrations transmitted from the electrical conductor to other components of the electrical system. The electrical connector assembly also minimizes the likelihood that the watertightness of a seal extending between the electrical conductor and the electrical connector assembly may be compromised as a result of such mechanical vibrations.
