Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, activating one or more anchors in a network of deployed anchors to transmit or receive one or more wireless signals, obtaining range measurements and angle measurements based on the one or more wireless signals, and determining coordinates of anchors in the network based on the range measurements and the angle measurements.
