Provided is an information processing apparatus including: a projection unit that projects visible light onto a surface in a real space; a sensor that detects a position of the visible light projected onto the surface in the real space; a display unit having optical transparency; and a control unit that controls the projection unit, the sensor, and the display unit, in which relative positions of the projection unit, the sensor, and the display unit are fixed, and the control unit displays a target image for correcting a deviation from the position of the visible light on the display unit. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, an HMD.
