Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device having a processing system including a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations including facilitating activation of a first module for a wireless system; integrating the first module into the wireless system; checking for errors during the integration of the first module in the wireless system; responsive to a determination that the integrating of the first module is error free, placing the wireless system in an operational state; and receiving an operational error code from an originating module.
