A terminal to provide an interface corresponding to a system mode includes a motion recognizing unit to detect a first motion of the terminal, to determine whether the first motion is a recognized motion, and to identify a system mode corresponding to the recognized motion; a searching unit to identify a service network supporting the system mode; and a user interface (UI) processing unit to provide an interface that corresponds to the system mode.
