An aspect of the present disclosure pertains to a method for displaying the plurality of elements of the at least one application on the display screen, the method including the steps of splitting, at a computing device, the display screen into a plurality of sections, associating, at the computing device, at least one section of the plurality of sections with at least one element of the plurality of elements of the at least one application, controlling, at the computing device, at least one display parameter of the at least one section, and displaying, at the computing device, the at least one element on the display screen in split-screen view.
