A golf ball pickup tool is provided. The golf ball pickup tool can be extended to an appropriate length when picking up a golf ball and can be shortened when carrying. The holder pieces 11a and 11 b are joined and fixed to each other at one ends thereof and are urged so as to close the other ends. A golf ball is held between the other ends of the holder pieces 11a and 11b in the state of the holder pieces 11a and 11b being taken out of the grip 10.
