LOW LIGHT HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE IMAGE PROCESSING
Abstract:
High dynamic range (HDR) image processing for low light conditions is performed by obtaining three images. The three images include a first long exposure image and a pair of digitally overlapped (DOL) multi-exposure images. The DOL multi-exposure images include a second long exposure image and a short exposure image. Respective RGB images are obtained from the first long exposure image and the pair of DOL multi-exposure images. The respective RGB images are fused to generate a low light HDR image.
