Abstract:
928,711. Mounting for tubular furniture legs; tables. N. WASSERSTROM & SONS Inc. Jan. 30, 1962 [July 20, 1961], No. 3479/62. Classes 52 (1), 52 (2) and 52 (3). Tubular legs 22 are each attached to sinks, tables &c. by a holder 20 comprising a tubular housing 26 in which a spring metal gripping member 36 is centrally located by radially extending flanges 44 attached to the split sleeve 38, the member 36 having spring fingers 46. The housing 26 is welded as at 30 to the underside of the sink and the leg 22 is gripped and frictionally retained by the parts 50, 52 of the fingers and by the sleeve 38. Adjustable feet 24 each comprise a tubular body 54 flanged at 58 that is pushed into the open bottom of the leg 22 and into which screws a foot member 62.
