Antimicrobial 1,2,4,5-tetrasubstituted benzenes having the structure:
WHEREIN R and R'' may be methyl, or a halogen when R'''''' is -CH2-; or R and R'', taken together, may be methylene dioxy; R'''' may be methyl or nitro; R'''''' may be absent or may be -CH2- or -CH ; and X is the residue of a substituted amino or a polyamino radical.
