Abstract:
Thermoplastic block copolymers of the idealized formulae (I)A--B--A; B--A--B or (A--B).sub.x (I)in whichx=1 to 40,and whereinA is the radical of a homopolymer of styrene, vinylnaphthalene, butadiene and isoprene, andB the radical of a homopolymer of a cyclic polycarbonate or lactone,the average molecular weight of blocks A and B being greater than 800, and a process for the preparation of these blocks copolymers in several reaction stages.
