The organic EL device array includes: a light emitting region (region I) having a plurality of organic EL light emitting portions for emitting light in an organic compound layer disposed between a pair of electrodes; a protective layer in contact with an upper electrode of the pair of electrodes; a member disposed on the protective layer; an intermediate layer disposed between the protective layer and the member, in which a thinner portion of the intermediate layer is present outside a light emitting region (region O) within the surface thereof.
