A trigger is set in the case in which the calculated recovery time (tr) exceeds the predefined time period (t0). The mechanisms determine a type of redolog used during a backup process and a corresponding recovery speed value associated with the type of redolog. The recovery time is calculated based on the type of redolog used during the backup process and the corresponding recovery speed value associated with the type of redolog.
