Alternatively, an ultraviolet rays emitter has a structure in which a plurality of semiconductor light emitting elements is mutually supported with a support member in a positional relationship in which the optical axes of the respective elements are mutually inclined in such a manner that the irradiation regions of ultraviolet rays emitted from the semiconductor light emitting elements overlap on a recording medium.
