The crown has an inside surface for engaging a wearer's head, directed into the opening, to thereby maintain the headed piece in an operative position upon the wearer's head. The crown and brim/bill further have an exposed outside surface to which ornamentation is applied. The ornamentation includes bullion wire that is applied to the exposed outside surface so as to define at least a part of a viewable component that consists of at least one of: a) a scene; b) a logo; c) a design; d) a word; e) a letter; and f) a depiction of a: i) person; ii) place; and/or iii) thing.
