The substrate for liquid crystal display devices of the present invention is a substrate for liquid crystal display devices having a light-blocking area and a pixel area, including: a projection structure provided within a light-blocking area in a liquid crystal display device along a part of or all of patterns of the light-blocking area in the liquid crystal display device.
