The liquid crystal display device may include a cabinet having a front panel facing the front and in which an opening is formed; a liquid crystal panel having a display surface; and a chassis configured to clamp the outer region of the liquid crystal panel from the front side and the back side, to face the display surface to the opening, and to arrange the liquid crystal panel inside the cabinet. A hook may be provided that is projected rearward from a position close to the opening on the back surface of the front panel and engaged with the chassis that clamps the outer region of the liquid crystal panel, and prevents a displacement of the chassis toward the rear side.
