Disclosed are oligomeric cationic azo dyes of formula (1), their salts, isomers, hydrates and other solvates, wherein n, R1, R2, X, Y− and Z+ are defined in claims and disclosure. Furthermore, the present invention relates to novel cationic oligomeric azo dyes of formula (1), compositions, thereof, especially comprising other dyes, and to application for hair dyeing.
