A video display apparatus which displays video includes: a first display unit which displays a menu screen of the video display apparatus; a switching unit which switches a current input to an input from an input source device from which video is inputted when the input source device is indicated in the menu screen displayed by the first display unit; and a second display unit which displays a menu screen of the input source device when the switching unit switches the current input.
