Then, upon completion of the generation of the tone signals based on the automatic performance data requiring copyright protection, recording by the recording section is automatically resumed. Alternatively, for a period from the start to end of the generation of the tone signals based on automatic performance data requiring copyright protection, the recording section is inhibited from recording the tone signals based on the automatic performance data requiring copyright protection.
