The interface ID value of an IP address allocated to a mobile terminal upon IP communication in a mobile communication system is set by using country information, mobile network information and a telephone number stored in the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal enables IP communication with a receiving-side mobile terminal even if the mobile terminal has information related to only the telephone number of the receiving-side mobile terminal.
