A power of the zoom lens is varied by changing intervals between neighboring lens groups in the first through fifth lens groups. The second lens group includes a cemented lens consisting of one positive lens and one negative lens, and the third lens group includes a cemented lens consisting of two positive lenses and one negative lens.
