The housing assembly is arranged for holding the liquid crystal display. The housing assembly includes a bezel (231). The bezel includes at least one bead portion (25) adjacent to an inner free edge thereof. The at least one bead portion elastically contacts a peripheral edge area of the first substrate, and the inner free edge of the bezel covers a peripheral edge portion of the polarizer.
