This analyzer selects a major classification corresponding to the analyte to be analyzed from a plurality of major classifications indicating the types of analytes, preferentially displays minor classifications, belonging to the selected major classification, prepared by subdividing the corresponding major classification, selects one of the displayed minor classifications, and analyzes the analyte on the basis of an analytical condition corresponding to the selected minor classification.
