In addition, the electronic camera apparatus includes an adjusting unit for adjusting, based on the data-writing rate obtained by the rate obtaining unit, values of image recording parameters for determining an image data volume to be written onto the recording medium in a fixed period of time to restrict the image data volume to a level less than a data volume which can be written on the recording medium within the fixed period of time.
