The image pickup device projects the illumination image instead of the background image on the screen, such that the person's image does not overlap with the background image during the image pickup action. A brightness level of the object image in the corrected pickup picture is adjusted according to a brightness level of the background image, such that the object image can be more naturally harmonized with the background image.
