The image forming apparatus includes: a body, to which a plurality of image forming cartridges containing developers are attachable; and a communication device which wirelessly communicates with a plurality of non-contact tags provided to the plurality of image forming cartridges, respectively. The communication device includes: a plurality of antennas which are provided correspondingly with the plurality of image forming cartridges; and a switching controller which switches signals from the plurality of antennas.
