The adhesive layer is provided between the plurality of honeycomb fired bodies to connect the honeycomb fired bodies. Pore diameters of pores in the adhesive layer are about 300 μm or less. A ratio of a total area of pores having a pore diameter of at least about 50 μm and at most about 300 μm and an aspect ratio of at least about 1 and at most about 1.5 in a cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction to a total area of pores having a pore diameter of at least about 50 μm and at most about 300 μm is about 90% or more.
