This aim can be accomplished by providing a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell comprising a positive electrode having a positive electrode active material, an negative electrode having an negative electrode active material, and non-aqueous electrolyte, wherein the positive electrode active material comprises lithium cobalt oxide to which at least one material selected from the group consisting of Mg, Al, Ti, and Zr was added, and the positive electrode comprises lithium phosphate.
