The thus-selected arbitrator is provided in a PC. At least one is selected from a plurality of parsers that are different from each other in terms of an OS or specifications of a printer, and the thus-selected parser is provided in the PC. The plurality of arbitrators are compatible with an interface to the parser. The plurality of parsers are compatible with the arbitrator. The arbitrator and the parser can operate in conjunction with each other even when provided in the PC in any combination.
