Abstract:
A fluid dynamic bearing device having high bearing performance at low cost is provided.A bearing member 6 includes an inner diameter part 8 having a radial bearing surface and an outer diameter part 7 having a mounting surface for a bracket 5. Both the inner diameter part 8 and the outer diameter part 7 are made of a resin. The inner diameter part 8 is preferably formed of an oil-impregnated resin, and more preferably a porous resin, and the outer diameter part 7 is formed of a nonporous resin.
