The liquid crystal display further includes an optical sheet on the base, the optical sheet including a backlight unit, a flexible printed circuit on the optical sheet, and a liquid crystal display panel comprising a large scale integrated circuit, the liquid crystal display panel substantially covering the optical sheet. A window is attached to and substantially covers the frame at least one support extends from the base for supporting the window and/or the backlight unit.
