The superconducting device has a second metallic member (3) with a resistive element (4) and an electrical coupling (5) with the first metallic member (2). The resistive element (4) of the second metallic member (3) is thermally decoupled from the first metallic member (2). The first metallic member (2) has a substantially higher electrical resistance compared to the second metallic member (3).
