In the ink deposition step, the ink is deposited onto the surface of the coating layer in a state where an effective pH of the aggregating agent on the surface of the coating layer is not lower than 1.67 and not higher than 7.0, and an effective pH of the aggregating agent in the coating layer is not lower than 0.1 and not higher than 1.7.
