According to an embodiment, the method includes transferring electrical energy from one electronic device to another electronic device with the help of electromagnetic waves. An electronic device that requires electrical energy can get energy transferred from one or more other electronic devices present in its vicinity. The electrical energy being transferred can be used to charge the battery of the electronic device.
