The camshaft adjusting device has a stator which is driven via a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine and a rotor which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the camshaft. The rotary angle position of the rotor can be varied with respect to the stator by way of a piston which can be displaced in the radial direction.
