The first seat rail (2) is provided with at least two apertures (2e) through each of which protrudes a region of the end stop (11, 21, 31, 41, 51) serving to limit the seat rail movement in the longitudinal direction of the seat rails (2, 3), and the region is formed by a respective tab (11a, 21a, 31a, 41a, 51a); formed integrally with the end stop (11, 21, 31, 41, 51). The associated aperture (2e) is formed in each case by a slot (2e) in the first seat rail (2), and the two tabs (11a, 21a, 31a, 41a, 51a) are arranged at the same height in the longitudinal direction of the seat rail (2).
