Abstract:
An azo pigment showing excellent coloring characteristics such as tinctorial strength and hue and excellent fastness such as light fastness, and a pigment dispersion containing the azo pigment are provided. An azo pigment represented by the following general formula (1) and a pigment dispersion containing the pigment: Wherein Y, G, X1, X2, R1, R2 and R3 are defined in the claims and in the specification.
