The first group includes an aperture stop, and the second group includes a positive lens, and a cemented lens of a positive lens and a negative lens. The third group is composed of a cemented lens of a positive lens and a negative lens, and the following formula (1) is satisfied: 0.5≦f2/f≦1.2  (1), where f: focal length of the entire system of the imaging lens, and f2: focal length of the second group.
