Then, if a slip ratio of the wheel on the high μ road surface side exceeds the second threshold value, a pressure decrease control in ABS control is started even if the slip ratio of a wheel on a low μ road surface side does not exceed the first threshold value. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the vehicle running state from becoming unstable due to the wheel speed of the wheel on the high μ road surface side from decreasing with respect to the vehicle speed.
