The invention furthermore relates to a device for converting UMTS signals into signals according to a telephone standard, comprising a receiver unit for receiving the UMTS signals, means for converting the signals received into signals according to a telephone standard as well as means for providing or transmitting the signals according to a telephone standard. Finally, the invention relates to a communication system comprising a device as claimed in any of claims 1 to 9 as well as at least one computer connected with the device and/or at least one telephone system or fax machine.
