The apparatus includes a first switch connected between a first power source for supplying a first voltage and a scan electrode, and a first diode and a second switch connected in series between a second power source for supplying a second voltage that is higher than the first voltage and the scan electrode. Further, the driving apparatus includes a third switch connected between a power recovery power source and a contact point between the first diode and the second switch, and a second diode connected in parallel the first diode and the third switch.
