The method includes presenting the active content of the mobile device in association with an external computing device and receiving, on the mobile device, user input from one or more components associated with the external computing device. A system for interfacing with a mobile device is also provided. The system includes one or more proximity control components, one or more translator components, one or more rendering components, and one or more transferring components. A method for communicating active content of a mobile device to an external computing device is also provided. The method includes transferring data containing at least one of display definitions, navigational elements, and active content and presenting the transferred data in association with the external computing device.
