The unit cell includes a photodiode which accumulates a signal charge obtained by photoelectric conversion of incident light, an amplifying transistor which has a control electrode capacitively coupled to a vertical signal line, and which amplifies the signal charge outputted from the photodiode and outputs the amplified signal charge to the vertical signal line, and a reset transistor which resets a voltage at the control electrode of the amplifying transistor.
